Lesson you could pick up from Takhti

If you don't get disappointed easily by people's words, you can grab world championship just like famed Iranian wrestler Gholam-Reza Takhti.

A sequence from ‘Takhti, the World Champion’--a new Iranian biopic on the incredibly popular athlete--reveals he did not receive any encouraging word from people before gaining the top spot in world wrestling championship as well as Olympics.

The biopic depicts the Iranian world champion’s life from childhood till death. The project is shot in three phases to show the hero’s life stages.

Mahour Alvand, Atila Pesyani, Behnoush Tabatabaee, Hamid-Reza Azarang, Setareh Pesyani, and Siavash Tahmoures are among the cast members of the film.

Bahram Tavakkoli’s film had its premiere as a contestant at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran. The film grabbed 11 nominations as well as two Crystal Simorgh awards for Best Cinematography and the Best Set Design.
